Scheduling

Scheduling is Twistedmind’s own employee scheduling software. The concept, design, and development of the site were all completed in house. Scheduling is is a web application to easily manage your work schedule, communicate with employees, request time off, and more.

The Ruby Show

The Ruby Show is the longest running Ruby and Rails news and development podcast. The Ruby Show web site runs a custom CMS written in Rails 3.0 which serves downloads of shows, a feed to iTunes, and has download tracking built in. The CMS is, from concept to completion, a Twistedmind project.

Genius Pool

Genius Pool is Twisted Mind’s very own job board. Prospective employees can find high quality developers, designers, and engineers by placing a job ad on the site. Genius Pool uses the Active Merchant library from Shopify to process credit card transactions, and GitHub’s resque for queueing needs.

Site design was done by the incredibly talented DJ Browning of 2 guys.

When Dan Benjamin was getting ready to launch his podcast network, Jason was there to help. The 5by5 site features a custom Rails CMS that automatically publishes new podcasts, adds album art and tags to episodes, and more.

MSN Music International

When Hoodiny was getting ready to launch Cyloop, or MSN Music International, Twisted Mind helped them prepare!
Using a combination of several different technologies and providing an architecture overhaul, we got the site up and handling the demanding traffic. Over the next year we constantly tweaked the site and kept in running in tip top shape.

Blinksale

Blinksale was one of the premier Ruby on Rails sites. When it came time to upgrade the application from the (then outdated) version 1.2 of the framework to 2.0, Twistedmind helped Blinksale complete the transition. The application was brought up to the new version of the rails and prototype frameworks, the test suite was enhanced, and the pdf exporting architecture was completely redone.
